Getting to Santa Ponsa by car

If you want to get there from Palma, you must take the Ma-1 motorway. As we were saying, the distance is 21.7 km, which will take you about 25 minutes to complete.
From other parts of the island such as Alcudia and Pollensa, in the north, it will take you about an hour, but the road is good so the drive will be quite pleasant.

From the centre of the island, for example from Sineu, 58 km separate you from Santa Ponsa.

From other mountainous parts of the island, where the curves are endless and the route time can be considerably longer, such as Valldemossa, Deiá or Sóller, we recommend that, unless you want to see and contemplate the marvellous views, you go first to Palma and from there to Santa Ponsa.

Getting to Santa Ponsa by public transport

As we have been saying, if your idea is to get to Mallorca by plane, you must know that the Airport of Sant Joan is located 30 kms away from Santa Ponsa, so if you want to get from the airport by public transport, first you will have to go to the bus stop in the “Arrivals” area, and when you leave the terminal take the A1 line. This bus has a fare of €5.

You will not be able to get there directly by public transport, you will have to go through Palma first. There, get off at Plaza de España and at the Parc de las Estaciones, opposite, take bus number 103 to your destination.

The beach of Cala Blanca is also known as Costa de la Calma, as it is located within the well-known urbanisation, a beautiful and very picturesque corner of this southern area of the island of Mallorca.

Cala Blanca is a beach with crystal clear waters and white sand, surrounded by cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation. It is a much less frequented beach than the previous ones, which gives it a greater sense of tranquillity and intimacy.
