There are as many as there are tastes, so the choice of which restaurant to go to and try one or the other can be complicated. Therefore, today we bring you a selection of what we consider to be the 10 best pizza restaurants in Mallorca, although of course there are many more.

Bacán Pizzas de Autor
What would we do without Bacán Pizzas de Autor! A few years ago we decided to leave our life in the capital and move to the outskirts of Campanet, a beautiful village where we couldn’t be happier. And we are not going to deceive you, the Bacán pizza restaurant and its Salvador pizza made our new life much easier for us.
This pizza restaurant in Campanet is run by Flor and Rodrigo, a charming Argentinian couple who have created pizzas and focaccias with incredible flavours, some more traditional and some more daring. The result has been spectacular and proof of this is that Bacán is always full. All their pizzas are delicious, although our favourites are the Salvador, the Nona Rosa and the Tía Gaby.
We can’t fail to mention Tomeu, Zahida, Ezequiel and company…. All their staff are extremely friendly and professional, and have helped make us feel part of the family!
Pizzería Majorana
This small pizza restaurant in Palma is, for us, one of the best in the city and the one we frequented the most before moving from the capital. It is no coincidence that its Google score is 4.9 out of 5.
The place where it is located is designed more for take-away, although it has four small tables for those who decide to stay and enjoy Emilio and Rosanna’s company, and their exquisite pizzas. If you’re looking for quality and fresh ingredients, a fair price and a place that makes you feel at home, without caring about the appearance of the place… you’ll love Pizzeria Majorana as much as we do. If you go, we recommend the gorgonzola and pear pizza!
Restaurante Pizzería Volvér
Restaurante Pizzería Volvér in Binissalem has been one of our latest discoveries and it was clear to us that it had to be part of this ranking of the best pizza restaurants in Mallorca. We loved their pizzas!
This restaurant is very cosy and its specialities are fresh homemade pasta and pizza. We only had the opportunity to try the pizza and we are looking forward to returning to try the pasta, which looked delicious. The pizzas are thin and crispy – for us the best kind -, artisan and freshly made, and the ingredients are fresh and light, not heavy at all. We tried the classic 4 formaggi and the prosciutto & funghi, and both were a hit.
Il Tano
Il Tano Santa Catalina is one of our all-time favourite pizzerias and one of the best on the island, without a doubt. There is no article about pizza restaurants in Mallorca in which this restaurant is not mentioned, as since it opened its doors it has earned its well-deserved reputation and the loyalty of its customers.
The dough for their pizzas is prepared daily, following the family recipe that has been perfected over the years, and achieving the perfect texture: crispy on the outside and spongy on the inside. Delicious! In addition, they also offer wholemeal dough with cereals and black charcoal dough, which is very light.
Our current favourites are the Cabra pizza and the Regina Napoletana pizza; although we can’t help but ask them to consider adding the Preciosa pizza back to their menu, we loved it so much! 💙
L’Artista Pizzeria Napoletana
L’Artista Pizzeria Napoletana is one of the most successful pizza restaurants in Mallorca and one of the most popular in Palma in recent years. So much so, that the demand has led to the opening of several more premises, currently including the one on Paseo Marítimo, Son Moix and Can Pastilla. Even so, we recommend you book, as they are always full.
L’Artista has managed to combine the rich Naples culinary heritage of the Melucci brothers (the owners) with a modern and creative approach, creating pizzas with spectacular flavours. In addition to their pizzas and calzones, they offer the curious option of having the pasta dish you order come inside a pizza dough. Although we have several pizzas on our list, we always end up ordering the Vanvitelli pizza (Vicky is crazy about cheese) and the Tintoretto pizza. Is it the same for you?
Pizzería 500 grados
Located in the Blanquerna area, in the centre of the capital, you will find the pizza restaurant 500 grados, one of the most highly rated in all the gastronomic rankings. And no wonder! The pizzas at this restaurant are amazing, really!
The pizzas are baked in an authentic wood-fired oven at 500 degrees in about 60 seconds, with fresh, seasonal and good quality ingredients, resulting in a very good Neapolitan pizza. On this occasion, we tried the special fig pizza (buffalo mozzarella, grana padano, Iberian ham and figs) and the sobrasada pizza, both to be repeated. The menu is not as extensive as in other competing pizzerias, but we found it to be sufficient and very good value for money.
Es Molí des Bon Profit
Es Molí des Bon Profit pizzeria, in Campos, is the pizza restaurant that we like the most in the southeast area of the island and that we always visit after a day at the beach in Es Trenc or Cala Mondragó. It’s a pity it’s so far away, because we love it!
In this case, the owners are French, but that doesn’t mean their pizzas are not up to scratch. The restaurant has a wide variety of pizzas, with cream base, mixed tomato and cream base, and classic tomato pizzas, as well as three different sizes, all with thin, crispy dough. Our favourites in this case are the 4 cheese pizza and the Kentucky pizza.
Mozzatura
Mozzatura pizza restaurant in Palma is part of the Association of Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN) which was founded to protect and promote the authentic Neapolitan pizza all over the world, as it is an Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
To become a member of this association, you have to meet strict requirements, including respect for the production and baking process of their pizzas, which are baked in a Sorrento stone oven and use products with the Italian Campana designation of origin. So you can imagine how delicious the pizzas are here! If you want to try a different pizza from the usual, we recommend their speciality, the pizza fritta, as well as the pizza napoletana, both of which we loved!
Pizzería Limoncello
Pizzeria Limoncello is located in Marratxí, off the beaten tourist track, so it is one of those restaurants that you will only visit if you know it and it is well worth it. In addition to pizzas, they specialise in pasta, being one of the few restaurants where you can enjoy authentic spaghetti cacio e pepe.
Their pizzas are also delicious and generous, with wide edges and thin dough, and good toppings. It is a classic in Mallorca and is usually very full, so it is essential to book a table. Last time we went, we tried the pizza bufalina (and the spaghetti) and enjoyed it very much.
NAP Palma
NAP Palma pizza restaurant, also in Palma’s Santa Catalina neighbourhood, is another of our recent discoveries, which we got to know thanks to Instagram. Like the Mozzatura restaurant, it is part of the Association of Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), so quality is more than guaranteed.
On our visit we tried, on recommendation, the classic pizza margherita and pizza marinara, both thin crust pizzas, which we found to be very good and easy to digest. Also worth mentioning is the friendliness of the waiters and the good service offered. In our case they were very quick, very friendly and gave us a very good recommendation. We are looking forward to coming back!
