Bodega La Rambla is a culinary landmark in the heart of Palma de Mallorca since 1940 and one of the best restaurants where you can taste an authentic Mallorcan variat (variat mallorquí) in Mallorca.
Its history goes back to the 1940s, but it was in 1969 when Roberto Pérez bought the tavern and turned it into a pioneering tapas bar in Palma, which continues to maintain its essence and all its flavour to this day under the orders of his grandson (and without forgetting the years at the helm of our beloved Jero!)
Its speciality, as we said, are the variats mallorquins, which in Mallorca are the queen of tapas: a dish in which different portions of traditional Mallorcan food are combined, either as an aperitif, snack or even dinner; and in which you can’t miss the ensaladilla rusa (potato salad).
Normally about five or six tapas are eaten per person and, specifically in Bodega La Rambla, you can’t miss the ensaladilla with the pica-pica, the meatballs, the tripe and the unequalled breaded dishes. Really, you won’t regret it!
