The Hotel el Guía de Sóller is one of the oldest and most traditional hotel and restaurant establishments in the valley of Sóller and on the island of Mallorca, in the heart of the Sierra de Tramontana, in the northwest of Mallorca.
Located near the railway station and close to the city centre, Plaza de la Constitución, more specifically, Hotel El Guía de Sóller has had a new look since 2017 but retains the style of yesteryear after a thorough renovation, since the hotel was opened to the public in 1880.
It has a privileged location as it is located between the sea and the mountains, only 10′ by car from the Playa d’en Repic and the beach of Puerto de Sóller; and another 10′ from the Barranco de Biniaraix ravine where, if you reach the top, you will have incredible views of the entire valley of Sóller, which you can see in this video.
It is a hotel that has a Boutique Spa and a breakfast with a super cosy terrace. Swimming pool, spa and massages if you wish, the perfect recipe to rest body and mind. It features a fireplace in a charming shared lounge and a restaurant serving local cuisine, Ca’s Pentinadó Restaurant.
Ca’s Pentinadó in the Hotel El Guía Sóller
Hotel El Guía is one of the oldest restaurants in Sóller, together with Cas Carreter. It is a restaurant that was founded, like the hotel, in 1880 and its recommendation has been passed down through the generations.
He prepares dishes with local products: fresh fish, paella, typical Mallorcan dishes, all cooked with love and in a traditional way.
It was the first restaurant in Mallorca to be decorated and to appear in the Michelin gastronomic guide.
